OK, here we have a late '70s Viking with a common Viking problem - the roof is about to fall off!
Very slowly we have been removing the gutter, repaing the inner box sections and then adding some fresh roof section and gutter............................

Sorry for the lack of updates recently but we've been super busy gettting loads of buses ready for the show season............. Here's a few that are in at the moment..............
This late bay is in for electrical work and a good service. We will also be replacing the Porsche alternator.
This nearly new bay received a little bodywork to tidy it up.

For the 3rd day now, Sam has been sorting out rust issues under an early bay. Repairs are extensive and include major parts of the chassis, outriggers, inner and outer sills etc
The small hole in the picture below is the seatbelt mount - the big hole and the rust shouldn't really be there - it will all be stripped out and replaced with fresh steel. Seatbelt mounts will be reinforced.
more rot..................
The ACME bus has been on the ramp all day while Jim has been nudging the rear end towards the ground and repositioning the shock absorbers. After much cutting and grinding (and taking the wheels on and off about 30 times) we have managed to get the bus down another 2 inches on the rear - now the rear end scrapes the ground as much as the front :-)
