it's all a blur...........well it is until I can get someone with steadier hands to take the photos. Work is coming in thick and fast............the overtime starts next week
Dom's bus is now in and being prepped for sale
Steve's bus got dropped off yesterday. We'll get on to it when we can
This bay had extensive brake work and has just passed it's MOT. It's staying with us for a few upgrades.
Stuart's bus is about to get a facelift.
a front clip has been bought in and has now been shotblasted
After a long wait we've finally got a rear corner for Jason's bus. Autocraft are no longer making them due to the work involved so this one came in from the continent.
Jason has fabricated a new inner as the old one had just rusted away.
everything tidied up a bit -
.....corner tacked into place
waiting for work.
tea break!
This superb Westy sailed through it's MOT yesterday and is now getting a full service and an underside waxoyl
This bay is slowly getting there
the boys have removed a nasty locker from the side of the bus - we'll put a new side panel on it at some point.
What else?
Shannon has rebuilt Ross and Brenda's engine and will be fitting it today.
Wheels and tyres have been ordered for Phils bus and the window guys will be coming shortly to fit some tinted glass in the sliding doors.
Gary's bus is nearly done at the paintshop
and there's loads I've not mentioned - sorry if your bus is one of them.
I'll post another update next week. Checkout our facebook page - it gets a photo a day!

A few things I missed on the last blog entry....................

Phil's bus has now been painted and is looking very smart indeed. Now we have stopped making a mess we should be able to get some smart new wheels and tyres on it very shortly.

The '56 is now alive with most of the electrics working. Yesterday we turned our attention to the engine and have stripped it to check over the internals. It will go back together on Monday having been fully serviced and bench run.

This bay needed quite a lot of work and will be going through it's MOT test on Monday.

Adam's front floor is looking great

This split will be back in next week for a going over prior to sale. More details next week.
.............and good news for Jason; we've now got your rear corner and will be fitting it next week.

cheers for now

Wow, it's getting busy here. The workshop is full and we've secured a load of fresh work from old and new customers - it's going to be a full-on year here at 50-67.

Once again, thanks go out to all our good friends for their help and support.

Here's a few random shots of what's going on -

Nicks 23 is is back on the go now that we've secured some doors. Once the front end is lined up correctly we will media blast the whole front end. if we had done that earlier there would have been no bus left!
Matt has spend hundreds of hours on the GUL Wetsuits bus - this is going to be amazing
Ross and Brenda's bus has a new loom, fusebox and lots of other tricky bits done. We have already fitted the rebuilt gearbox and dropped spindles - next job is the brakes
Simon's '57 came in for some love and drove off with new brake parts
Anouska's bus is nearly ready for paint preparation - shaping up really well
After hundreds of hours and a lot of graft we are ready to paint Phils doors and hatches. The bus is then going to Nigel Allen for a TDI conversion
Welding continues on Adams bus. After fitting a front panel we've now fitted a brand new front floor

preparation for paint will begin soon
The black bay is getting monstered and is coming on nicely
Jason...........................stand by for more pictures soon
More updates soon
