Steve's bus came in for a service and an exhaust but spat it's clutch out on the way here from Devon.

............not so good.

Jeff is on the case and is rebuilding everything with upgraded performance parts from Retrodubs.

Matt and Chris kicking up some dust preparing panels and wheels for paint
Tom's motor for the Sales Flap Bus - bad pic - camera covered in dust!
Jem is on to the last bit of welding on the Sales Flap Bus before we paint it - cavities sprayed with zinc paint..................
...............and Job done.
The last bit of welding done on the sales flap itself. Lower brace spot welded to the flap and a small return on the lower frame so we can fit a rubber.
Next week we will be shaping up the body ready for paint.

Still very busy here at 50-67. This week we have sorted out a good few buses that have had issues getting to Cornwall. Seized alternators, fried starters and dodgy electrics all fixed so that Holidays are not ruined.
Matt's oval is now in paint and looking nice in Maserati Red. only a couple of weeks ago this car was a rusty mess that had been crashed into by a tractor!
Tim's bus had seatbelt mounts fitted ...........and we finished the mechanics on Simon's '57 bus
.................and we did a few MOT's

Sales Flap Bus

As expected there was a little rust to sort out. We will be replacing the sills on both sides

The windows have been removed from the side loading doors and welded up

The sales flap itself has been fabricated from 1.5mm steel and has had the edges folded making it incredibly strong.

We are now in the process of sorting out the uprights and locking system.
